sadder city is a place for artists to tell the truth.

i started saddercity about two years ago as an online gallery for artists like myself, who wanted their voice heard when it came to art and politics. i was overwhelmed by the number of artists who donated work to the site. there were many great successes, including gallery owners emailing me and asking about artists for group shows. and some artists did get shows from saddercity! we were even able to raise some money to donate to the campaign fund of Barack Obama. which was pretty awesome.

and although Barack Obama has won the Oval Office, officially banned water-boarding, and is working on closing Guantanamo Bay, there is still a lot healing to be done around the world and in the United States. please email me at saddercity if you would like to be part on the online gallery. please send 3 images and a description of you and your work. your art is important to us all and the world deserves to see it.
